Description
Hello and welcome to our beautiful region, our “garden of France”. My childhood is called CHINON… During WW II, I lived here from the age of 5 and 11 with my dear grandpa. He used to manage his own vineyard “Fort St Georges” which yields a delicious rosé wine to taste on the terrace in the garden. What a scenic view on the roofs of Chinon and the landscape behind. I used to play in the fortress and the castle moat (even in the dungeons!) but also around the caves on the hills. I will tell you about it… Our grandpa, a former disciple of Pythagoras, taught us that “all in nature is in harmony” and I keep in mind a very nice memory of that period. In memory of him and his “old stones” like he used to say about the Fort St Georges, I will be happy to take you on my own way around these places that I wished for my old days.
